Amazon is planning to launch Food Delivery Service in India

Amazon may launch it’s Food Delivery Service in India at the end of this year. From Unknown Sources quoted by Reuters, it may launch the service in September, just before the festive season. From another report of Business Standards, they are also planning to buy the Uber Eats Food Delivery Service by the US-Based company “Uber”.

Uber failed to run its Food Delivery service in India in the last two years. So it will be interesting to see that if Amazon be able to run their operations successfully or not.

The Food Delivery Service will be included in the Amazon Prime Membership which also offers Fast & Free Delivery, Promotional Offers & Deals, Music & Video Streaming. As of now, Swiggy & Zomato both of these startups are leading the food delivery industry. Although these companies are backed up by Foreign Companies.
